Busy, Busy Bees

Well now we know what you might be thinking - how could anyone be so busy just on the cusp of August as everyone is getting into their summer holiday mood? Well, with a new collection, competitions and a trade show schedule worthy of a pop star's world tour, we can guarantee you that there really is no rest for the wicked, as they say. So let's start off with what we've been up to since we last updated our humble little blog. A big milestone for us recently was being able to take part in the America's Mart trade show that took place in Atlanta around the middle of this month. As one of the biggest trade shows, this was a big step for us and we were very excited to be a part of it. Plenty of pink and bright hues set our stand apart (you could definitely tell it from a mile off!) and the whole team had an absolute blast meeting so many customers and getting the chance to show off our gorgeous slippers in person. As you can see from the picture above, team member Miri (on the right) was having a great time trying on slippers and making friends. We were also honoured to meet so many small business and boutique owners, many of whom we are sure will be stocking Pretty You and Ugly Me in the future. And staying in line with the trade shows, we haven't stopped at America's Mart. Throughout August we will be in a number of locations, including the official big launch of our brand in the UK at the PURE trade show, which will run from 2nd - 4th August in London. We can't wait to see as many of you as possible and do keep your eyes peeled on our social media pages, where we will be posting our whereabouts and behind the scenes pics of our trade show antics. Now for some very exciting news which we've been building up to for some months, and of course it's no big secret - but August is fast approaching and with it comes our new collection for Fall/Winter, which we are very excited to show you. While the summer heat (depending on where you are) may not really get you in the mood for comfy slippers, we guarantee that once autumn hits, you will definitely want some new Pretty You and Ugly Me styles by your bedside. And to celebrate, we've got a shiny little competition that will give you the chance to win a pair of slippers of your choice from our website.
